2009-2010 Graduate Assistant Positions. The Wellness Center is currently accepting applications for half-time Graduate Assistants in the following areas: Sexual Health Education and Relationship Violence, Stress Management, Outreach in Health Education/Promotion, Alcohol and Other Drug Education, Nutrition (B.S. in dietetics required).
Qualifications: B.S/B.A. degree in counseling or human service field, health education, dietetics. Admission to graduate school, understanding of Wellness philosophy, good written and verbal communication skills, as well as computer skills required.
Desirable Qualifications: Background in counseling skills for Stress Management, Sexual Health, and Alcohol Drug positions. Teaching experience, program development/evaluation, health education/health promotion and public relations experience preferred.
