Dr. McLain is a board certified family medicine physician who has been a member
of the SIU Student Health Center medical staff since 2002. She graduated cum
laude with a bachelors degree in Biological Science from SIU-Carbondale in 1995, graduated SIU School of Medicine with honors in 1999, and completed a 3 year residency training program through SIU Family Practice in Carbondale in 2002.
Dr. McLain is the Chief of Preventive and Travel Medicine at the Student Health Center, the medical physician for the Outpatient Eating Disorder Program (EDOP), and has a particular interest in family planning and women's health issues. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and enjoys spending time with her family, running, and cycling. |
